This is crazy. A lot of thought went into this billboard. Advertisements like this wouldn’t fly in the USA, neither would the huge SEX billboard just below the BMW ad. Very inspirational. See more photos below.

Cree SAM

Cree SAM ($TBD) designed and developed by cree Ltd, which is a Swiss award-winning and patented Zero Emission Vehicle. It is 3 wheeled vehicle. It is a two seater, powered by Landert Blach electric motor which can let you run at top speed 85km/h. It looks very cool, see its door. SAM is at prototype stage and approved for all public. They have 80 vehicles initially produced for public testing in the cities of Zurich and Basle are currently running mainly on Swiss roads and owned by private consumers. [via Like Cool]

Nissan Intima

The Nissan Intima Sports Sedan concept that premiered at the 2007 Tokyo Show last October will debut the flagship model at the Beijing Auto Show in mid-April. Compared to the prototype, the production model has ditched the suicide doors for a set of conventional doors while the overall styling seems to be toned down. [via DubDaily]

Premier4509™ Offers Limited Edition Bentley Wide Body Package

Premier4509 announced a limited edition wide-body aero kit for the Bentley Continental GT that was released in conjunction with Premier4509’s Lamborghini Murcielago kit. The Bentley wide-body set is limited to 100 kits worldwide. The package consists of a front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, front fenders and rear quarter panels that increase the car’s width by 4 inches. In addition, metalwork will be offered by way of a custom four-piece bumper grille set with new exhaust tips.

Audi R8 Spider

According to Car, Audi has decided that a canvas roof or a folding hard top isn’t feasible due to the mid-mounted mill. Instead, a removable targa roof that can be detached and stowed will be fitted to the R8 to allow open air motoring with a bit of pre-planning. [via Car Magazine]

Bentley S3 E Design Concept

This is what happens when you dream up an idea that combines a vintage Bentley S3’s coachwork and chassis with a 300-horsepower BMW 4.4L V8, a ZF 5-speed auto, a custom dual exhaust, and a deluxe interior with all the modern amenities. Tweak the look to give it the feel of a late-model Bentley, add 20-inch forged wheels, slam it to the ground and you have Arturo Alonso’s Bentley S3 E design concept. Word is, Alonso and his team at Bentley Boys USA will build three of the cars over 8-month intervals to sell at $150K a pop. More photos here.

New York 2008: Saleen S5S Raptor

Saleen has unveiled a new supercar concept at today’s New York Auto Show that boasts a 650-horsepower V8 engine running on ethanol. The sprint to 60mph takes just 3.2 seconds and top speed is an estimated 200mph. Other features include a lightweight aluminum chassis and composite body and a six-speed manual transmission sending drive to the rear wheels. Already being touted as the successor to the current S7 flagship, the new car is still in the design phase and will only go into production if it receives enough interest from show goers.

Ferrari Testarossa Go-Kart

When originally offered in the 80’s to luxury consumers with too much money, the Ferrari Testarossa sold at such premium stores as FAO Schwartz and Neiman Marcus for more than $50,000. Over twenty years later, the St. Louis Car Museum & Sales is offering one for less than half that.

The hand-built Testarossa kart is powered by a 5hp Briggs & Stratton engine coupled to an automatic transmission with two speeds plus reverse. It features an electronic ignition, a Momo steering wheel with working horn, CD stereo, fully functional lights and signals (including retractable headlights), an independent suspension, hydraulic rear disc brakes and adjustable seats, all backed up by a 12-volt electrical system. The fiberglass-bodied kart measures 111″ long and at 615 lbs will top out at 30 mph.

Police release photos from Nick “Hogan” Bollea’s crash

Back in August 2007, the son of famed WWE Wrestler Hulk Hogan crashed his modded yellow Toyota Supra in Clearwater, Florida while allegedly street racing. Nick “Hogan” Bollea suffered minor injuries, but his friend riding shotgun at the time, John Graziano, suffered serious injuries including head trauma. Graziano now resides (and likely will for life) at a veteran’s hospital in Haley, VA. Since then, Bollea has been charged with felony reckless driving involving serious bodily harm, as well as a host of other offenses including being underage while driving drunk.
