BMW Billboard In Moscow With Real BMW’s

This is crazy. A lot of thought went into this billboard. Advertisements like this wouldn’t fly in the USA, neither would the huge SEX billboard just below the BMW ad. Very inspirational. See more photos below.

The Bioscleave House

The Bioscleave House, designed by architect Arakawa and Madeline Gins. The designers’ philosophy is that the only way to fight the inevitability of death is to stay young through daily challenges, both physical and mental. As told to the NY Times, Gins and Arakawa built the house to “make people use their bodies in unexpected ways to maintain equilibrium, and… stimulate their immune systems.” The house features undulating, sand-dune like floors and jungle-gym lounge areas, with decor in all colors from baby blue to fuschia to mint, both inside the house and out. Arakawa and Gris also built a series of “Reversible Destiny” loft apartments in Mitaka, Japan.

Cree SAM

Cree SAM ($TBD) designed and developed by cree Ltd, which is a Swiss award-winning and patented Zero Emission Vehicle. It is 3 wheeled vehicle. It is a two seater, powered by Landert Blach electric motor which can let you run at top speed 85km/h. It looks very cool, see its door. SAM is at prototype stage and approved for all public. They have 80 vehicles initially produced for public testing in the cities of Zurich and Basle are currently running mainly on Swiss roads and owned by private consumers. [via Like Cool]

If you want to get a coach of Nike? Nike+ SportBand ($59; April 10) allows runners to see their distance, pace, time and calories burned when they run. Its watch face is detachable. After you run, remove the Nike+Link and plus it into a USB connection on your computer and upload the nikeplus.com to track your run. [via Nike]

Portable Fish Tank

The OOFO Fish Tank design by Daniel Love is neat and compact.

It’s a visual aesthetic approached and the 2 different parts would be best by putting them together using Ultrasonic welding, an industrial technique whereby high-frequency ultrasonic acoustic vibrations are used to weld objects together, usually plastics, and especially for joining dissimilar materials.

Sense Light Swing

I know that I wish I had one of these when I was a kid. Now mothers have no excuse to let their kids swing in the dark! The Sense Light Swing by Lervik design. It is real cool in your garden. Made from plastic with fibre optic lighting inserted. On a dark summer night the swing creates a spectacular light show that lights up a whole garden in the most beautiful way.

The Throne by Ted Nemeth

Urban designer Ted Nemeth has taken the outdoors in with his throne chair which looks as it it has been created from a city dumpster. The chair is made of 1/8 inch cold rolled steel complete with big four-inch bolts. There are a pair of brass knuckles on the chair arms. The chair has leather armrests and seats and the chair is splashed with colorful customizable graffiti by New York-based street artist BLKINK. The chair is listed at $5,150.
